Addendum to Hats, bonnets and caps

I have found a cute picture of myself in my sunbonnet in 1931, a bonnet which I still have in my dressing up drawer, and have worn as a grown-up to a fancy-dress party.

And here is still another generation: my son in his woolly bonnet in Spring 1963, and in his sunhat in summer 1963.

Wow! I don't think I have anything from my childhood. Certainly not clothes, the odd toy maybe.

Ah! toys yes. I have my teddybear, an old spinning top, and the letters my father made for me out of thin plywood, for learning the alphabet. I'm sure there are others too - but I am a terrible hoarder!
