Here's one for a laugh ...

.
I've dipped into my file of drafts again, as I don't have time for a decent post at present.

The first picture was taken by my friend David Harris in November 2002. Just for a lark he decided to 'open' my eyes for me. Unfortunately he got the colour wrong, as you can see if you check with the third picture, taken more recently. I think he has made me look rather predatory. Clever work, though!

That looks awful! Not at all like you, Judith, and not one of David's best pieces of work either!

When you screw up your eyes it changes the shape of your face. Adding the eyes back is never going to look right however clever the manipulation. I regard myself as a PhotoShop Pro and I wouldn't have attempted it. It IS funny though as a "grotesque".

Natural, "shy" look is best, J. The manipulated Photoshop looks manic! I have found that you can do a lot with Photoshop, but never, ever touch the eyes - the "window of the soul" (except for "red eye)

Manic is right, Avus. I think I might be a female vampire spotting her prey!

Oh J. What did he do? !
First pic is Judith. Second pic is manic indeed.

If you'd like to leave your telephone number and your blood group, Judith will get back to you as soon as possible.....

Something funny going on here. All the comments except the last one are dated 2007. Since I brought it out of my draft folder to post it the other day, I can only assume I posted it once before, then took it off again in view of people's comments the first time. Oh well! Maybe I should take it off again.

I need to try that with Margaret - she manages to blink in nearly every photo I take.

Just found your blog through TIME GOES BY and I am so pleased to have found an interesting new blog (to me), and a new blog community to explore.

Interesting experiment. Considering my age & condition, I wonder if PhotoShop has a function called Botox???
